Retail Sales Assistant

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer focused Sales Assistant to join our Men’s Tailoring team at Pearsons. You’ll be a brand ambassador for our Twisted Tailor, Without Prejudice and Haines & Bonner brands, delivering expert tailoring advice, styling support, and first-class customer service in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service, offering expert advice on casual wear and formalwear
• Conduct measurements and fittings, providing recommendations for the perfect fit
• Drive sales performance, upselling and cross-selling to maximise revenue
• Maintain high visual standards and ensure the concession always reflects brand quality
• Support stock management, including replenishment, size checks, and maintaining stock integrity
• Actively contribute to team targets and KPIs, including conversion, UPT, and average transaction value
• Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, trends, and tailoring techniques
• Uphold Pearsons’ and Threadologys’ standards, processes, and operational policies

What We’re Looking For

• Passion for menswear, tailoring, and premium customer service
• Previous experience in retail, concessions, or high Street/premium fashion – tailoring experience preferred
• Strong selling and influencing skills, with a track record of achieving targets
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident working in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment
• Highly organised, self-motivated, and a team player
• Flexible to work weekends, evenings, and peak trading periods

Pay: Up to £26,436.80 per year
