Retail Sales Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Retail Sales Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about customer service, knowledgeable in vape products and smoking industry, and capable of creating an inviting shopping environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop organisational and merchandising skills within a vibrant retail setting. The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting customers, maintaining product displays, and supporting the overall store operations to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide expert advice on products
• Assist customers in selecting the right product based on their needs
• Maintain attractive and well-organised product displays and stock levels
• Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
• Restock shelves and ensure the store is clean, tidy, and welcoming at all times
• Support merchandising initiatives to promote seasonal or special offers
• Organise stock deliveries and coordinate with suppliers as needed
• Keep up-to-date with product knowledge to provide accurate information to customers

Skills

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers
• Strong organisational skills to manage stock levels and maintain visual merchandising standards
• Knowledge of vape and smoking products is advantageous
• Ability to work well within a team whilst also demonstrating independence when required
• Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks efficiently
• Experience in retail sales or customer service is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
