Retail Sales Assistant - Wine and Spirits

Glengarry Wines has been around since 1945 and remains 100% New Zealand family owned.

We’re hiring across our Auckland stores, including Herne Bay and Ponsonby Road, with a mix of part-time and full-time positions available.

You don’t need to arrive knowing everything about wine. What matters more is that you already know how to look after customers, work well in a busy shop or hospitality environment, and are interested in learning more.

Wine, spirits and beer, new releases, tastings, producers from around the world and customers who range from people choosing a bottle for dinner to serious collectors.

The work is physical too. Deliveries arrive, cases need moving and shelves need filling, so you’ll need to be comfortable lifting and moving stock as part of a normal shift.

Evening and weekend availability is essential.

Our stores don’t have staff parking, so you’ll also need to be able to make your own way to and from work.

For the right person, Glengarry is a very good place to learn the wine trade and build a proper career in it.
