Retail Sales Associate

Job Overview

BLUE ELEPHANT is looking for Sales Associates to join our Beverly Hills flagship store.
This is a fast-paced, high-volume retail position.
We are looking for team members who move quickly, stay aware of what is happening around them, and take initiative without waiting to be asked. Our Sales Associates help customers quickly and naturally, while continuously keeping products, displays, transactions, and the store environment moving.

A successful team member is fast, observant, organized, hands-on, and comfortable staying active throughout the shift — while maintaining the style, energy, and presentation expected of BLUE ELEPHANT.

Duties

• Fast-Paced Store Operations: Work efficiently in a high-volume retail environment; provide quick and friendly customer assistance while proactively supporting the sales floor wherever needed.
• Product Cleaning & Display Recovery: Continuously clean eyewear after customer try-ons, return products to the correct display positions, replenish missing items, and keep displays organized and presentation-ready.
• Transaction & Packaging: Process POS transactions quickly and accurately, inspect products before sale, and package orders efficiently to minimize customer wait times and bottlenecks.
• Store Cleanliness & Replenishment: Continuously monitor the store for water marks, fingerprints, and other visible messes; clean surfaces immediately, maintain mirrors and counters, and support stockroom organization and daily product replenishment.

Skills & Requirements

• Fast & Proactive: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment; able to recognize what needs attention and take action without waiting for direction.
• Team-Oriented & Hands-On: Positive, reliable, and willing to jump between customer assistance, cleaning, replenishment, and other store needs as priorities change.
• Communication & Style: Able to communicate effectively with customers in English, with a strong interest in fashion, contemporary streetwear, and eyewear.
• Physical & Schedule Requirements: Able to stand, walk, and stay active for extended periods, safely lift up to 30 lbs, and available to work Saturdays and Sundays.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience
• Relevant Experience: Experience in high-volume retail, fashion production, backstage operations, events, visual merchandising, or other fast-paced, hands-on environments is preferred.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
