Retail Sales Associate

To provide prompt, courteous customer service, accurate money handling, keeping adequate inventory levels, stock and clean shelves.

Job Duties

• Arrive to work on time and in proper uniform. ·
• Greet and assist customers by providing courteous customer service.
• Assist customers with products; suggestive selling.
• Walk customers to location of items as needed. Restock inventory, rotate and faces product as required.
• General cleaning of shelves and other store areas.

Shift:

• 8-hour shift
• Mid Shift
• Night shift

Work Week:

• Monday to Sunday
• Holidays
• Blackout dates

Requirements:

• Work environment includes continuous interaction with customers and coworkers in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be 21 or older.
• Knowledge of product rotation, and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, squat, and climb for up to 8 - 10 consecutive hours
• Lifting, moving and carrying up to 30lbs.
• Daily duties may include extended periods in a refrigerated work environment.
• Schedule entails days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Travel between multiple store locations may be required.
• Full time 35-40 hours.
• Part time 25-34 hours.
• Be able to work independently.
• Completes assigned tasks in an efficient and timely manner.
• Mental- judgment/decision making, social skills/verbal interactions, memorizing, reading, writing, math/counting currency.

Preferred Skills:

• Excellent verbal communication ability.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to use your excellent selling skills.
• Previous experience with retail, liquor and tobacco sales preferred.

Experience:

• Customer service: 2 years (Preferred)
• Sales associate: 2 years (Preferred)
• Working with beer, wine, liquor and tobacco: 2 years (Preferred)

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
