Role Overview:

We are hiring for a Retail Sales Associate to support customers in selecting home furnishings and creating an engaging in-store shopping experience. The role involves customer guidance, sales support, transaction processing, store operations, inventory support, and achievement of established sales and service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver an outstanding service experience for every customer and guest while maintaining a welcoming, professional, and visible presence in the store.

• Engage with customers in a cordial and respectful manner while representing professional store

service standards.

• Accurately and efficiently process sales orders while following cash-handling protocols and maintaining thorough documentation of sales transactions.

• Assist customers with credit applications and financing matters as required.

• Address customer concerns independently whenever possible and work toward appropriate resolutions.

• Support store opening and closing activities, including cash reconciliation and completion of daily checklists.

• Support inventory management and loss-prevention procedures, including participation in biannual inventory checks.

• Meet and exceed sales goals while aligning with established KPIs and performance standards.

• Develop and share fresh ideas that support customer engagement and the overall shopping experience.

• Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Must meet applicable legal age requirements for employment and the responsibilities of the role.

• Ability to lift, tug, and pull up to 25 lb with or without reasonable accommodation.

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

• One year of customer service and/or sales experience is preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to interact with customers in an outgoing, friendly, approachable, and professional manner.

• Ability to communicate information clearly and effectively in a way that encourages appropriate customer action.

• Ability to develop and communicate fresh ideas that support business and customer objectives.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on store requirements.

• Ability to maintain reliable attendance and consistently deliver exceptional service and customer satisfaction.
