Role Overview:

We are hiring for a Retail Sales Associate to guide customers through their home furnishing needs and create an engaging in-store shopping experience. The role involves customer service, sales order processing, financing support, store operations, inventory management, loss prevention, and achievement of established sales and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver world-class service and create a positive experience for every customer and guest.

• Maintain a welcoming, professional, and visible presence at the front desk while engaging with customers in a courteous and respectful manner.

• Accurately and efficiently process sales orders while following cash-handling protocols and maintaining thorough documentation of sales transactions.

• Assist customers with credit applications and financing matters as required.

• Address customer concerns independently whenever possible.

• Support store opening and closing activities, including cash reconciliation and completion of daily checklists.

• Support inventory management and loss-prevention procedures, including participation in biannual inventory checks.

• Meet and exceed sales goals while aligning with established KPIs and performance standards.

• Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Must meet applicable legal age requirements for employment and the responsibilities of the role.

• Ability to lift, tug, and pull up to 25 lb with or without reasonable accommodation.

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

• One year of customer service and/or sales experience is preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to interact with customers in an outgoing, friendly, approachable, and professional manner.

• Ability to communicate information clearly and effectively in a way that encourages appropriate customer action.

• Ability to develop and share fresh ideas that support customer engagement and business performance.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

• Ability to maintain reliable attendance and consistently deliver exceptional service and customer satisfaction.
