Role Overview:

We are seeking a Retail Sales Associate to create an exceptional in-store experience and help guests discover home furnishings that match their needs and preferences. The role focuses on customer engagement, product guidance, sales performance, transaction processing, inventory support, and daily store operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver a high-quality service experience by engaging customers professionally and creating a welcoming and customer-focused store environment.

• Maintain a visible and professional presence at the front desk while engaging with guests in a cordial and respectful manner.

• Guide customers through home furnishing products, styles, and room solutions while creating enthusiasm and interest in available offerings.

• Accurately and efficiently process sales orders while following applicable cash-handling procedures.

• Assist customers with credit applications and financing-related matters as required while maintaining complete sales transaction documentation.

• Address customer concerns independently whenever possible and work toward effective resolutions.

• Support store opening and closing activities, including cash reconciliation and completion of required daily checklists.

• Support inventory management and loss-prevention procedures, including participation in scheduled biannual inventory checks.

• Meet and exceed sales goals while aligning daily activities with applicable KPIs and performance standards.

• Contribute ideas and support initiatives that improve the customer experience, sales performance, and store operations.

• Complete additional tasks and responsibilities assigned by management.

• Maintain reliable attendance and support flexible scheduling requirements, including weekends and holidays.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

• One year of customer service and/or sales experience is preferred.

• Ability to lift, tug, and pull up to 25 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers in an outgoing, friendly, and approachable manner.

• Ability to communicate information clearly and effectively in a way that encourages appropriate customer action.

• Ability to develop and share new ideas that support customer service and business objectives.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

• Ability to perform effectively in an environment focused on exceptional service and customer satisfaction.
