Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Retail Sales Associate to transform store guests into loyal customers. This role involves guiding customers through home furnishing selections, creating an engaging shopping experience, providing expert product guidance, processing sales transactions, and supporting store operations. The ideal candidate is focused, ambitious, customer-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver a high-quality customer service experience and create a welcoming environment for every guest.

• Maintain a professional and visible presence at the front desk while engaging with customers respectfully and courteously.

• Guide customers through home furnishing options and help them identify products and styles suited to their needs.

• Accurately process sales orders while following cash-handling procedures and maintaining complete transaction documentation.

• Assist customers with credit applications and financing-related matters when required.

• Address customer concerns independently whenever possible and support customer satisfaction.

• Assist with store opening and closing activities, including cash reconciliation and daily checklists.

• Support inventory management and loss prevention procedures, including participation in bi-annual inventory checks.

• Meet and exceed sales goals while aligning performance with established KPIs and standards.

• Complete additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Ability to lift, tug, and pull up to 25 lbs with reasonable accommodation where applicable.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• One year of customer service and/or sales experience preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and customer engagement skills.

• Friendly, approachable, and comfortable interacting with a wide range of customers.

• Ability to communicate information clearly and persuasively to encourage customer action.

• Ability to develop and share fresh ideas.

• Strong focus on exceptional service and customer satisfaction.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

• Reliable attendance and dependable work habits.
