Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Retail Sales Associate to transform store guests into loyal customers. This role involves guiding customers through home furnishing selections, creating an engaging shopping experience, providing product guidance, processing sales transactions, and supporting store operations. The ideal candidate should be focused, customer-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver an outstanding customer service experience and create a welcoming environment for every guest.

• Maintain a professional and visible presence at the front desk while engaging with customers in a cordial and respectful manner.

• Guide customers through home furnishing options and help them discover suitable styles and products.

• Accurately and efficiently process sales orders while following cash-handling protocols.

• Assist customers with credit applications and financing matters as required.

• Maintain thorough documentation of sales transactions.

• Address customer concerns independently whenever possible.

• Assist with store opening and closing activities, including cash reconciliation and daily checklists.

• Support inventory management and loss prevention procedures, including bi-annual inventory checks.

• Meet and exceed sales goals while aligning performance with established KPIs and standards.

• Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Ability to lift, tug, and pull up to 25 lbs with reasonable accommodation where applicable.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• One year of customer service and/or sales experience preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and customer engagement skills.

• Friendly, approachable, and comfortable interacting with customers.

• Ability to communicate information clearly and persuasively to encourage action.

• Ability to develop and share fresh ideas.

• Strong focus on exceptional service and customer satisfaction.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

• Reliable attendance and dependable work habits.
