Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, a Retail Sales Associate to guide store guests through home furnishing selections, deliver exceptional customer service, and help customers discover products and styles that suit their needs. The role supports customer loyalty, sales growth, and store performance in a fast-paced, high-energy retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional service and create positive experiences for every customer and guest.

• Maintain a welcoming, professional, and visible presence at the front desk.

• Engage with customers cordially and respectfully while representing company brand standards.

• Guide customers through home furnishing products, styles, and room-design options.

• Accurately and efficiently process sales orders while following cash-handling protocols.

• Assist customers with credit applications and financing matters as required.

• Maintain thorough and accurate sales transaction documentation.

• Address customer concerns independently whenever possible.

• Assist with store opening and closing activities, including cash reconciliation and daily checklists.

• Support inventory management and loss-prevention procedures, including participation in bi-annual inventory checks.

• Meet and exceed sales goals while aligning performance with established KPIs and standards.

• Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Ability to lift, tug, and pull up to 25 lbs with reasonable accommodation where applicable.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• 1 year of customer service and/or sales experience preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and customer engagement skills.

• Friendly, approachable, and comfortable interacting with customers.

• Ability to communicate information clearly and in a way that inspires action.

• Ability to develop and share fresh ideas.

• Strong communication and sales-oriented interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

• Commitment to exceptional service and customer satisfaction.

• Reliable attendance.
