Retail Sales Associate

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to meet their needs
• Assist customers with product selection, offering detailed product demos when appropriate
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
• Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked and organized
• Conduct stock checks, receive shipments, and perform merchandising tasks to keep the store inviting
• Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting remote customers
• Support supervising staff by helping oversee daily operations and ensuring excellent customer service standards

Experience

• Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math is highly advantageous
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enabling effective communication with diverse customer groups
• Experience in smoke shopenvironments is beneficial
• Proven skills in customer service, upselling, merchandising, and stock management are desirable
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities in a retail setting
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and professional phone etiquette are essential for success
