Retail Sales Associate

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, dedicated to helping customers find what they need and providing exceptional service. Your primary responsibilities will include merchandising, assisting customers through phone communication, operating the point-of-sale (POS) system, and driving retail sales. Previous sales experience is a plus, but a positive attitude and strong communication skills are essential. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop your retail skills in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in finding products that meet their needs and provide personalized recommendations to enhance their shopping experience
• Maintain attractive and organized merchandise displays through effective merchandising techniques
• Communicate with customers via phone to answer inquiries, provide product information, and support their shopping decisions
• Operate the POS system accurately for transactions, returns, and exchanges
• Drive retail sales by actively engaging with customers and promoting store promotions or new products
• Ensure the store environment is clean, welcoming, and well-stocked at all times
• Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and ensure excellent customer service standards

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with attention to detail
• Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is a plus but not mandatory
• Basic proficiency with POS systems and phone communication tools
• Ability to merchandise displays effectively and maintain an organized store appearance

Pay: $10.50 - $11.50 per hour
