Retail Sales Associate

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at The UPS Store. In this role, you will assist customers with shipping, printing, mailbox services, packaging, and other business service needs. This is a fast-paced retail environment that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.

No prior experience is required-training will be provided. Retail or customer service experience is a plus.

High school students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a professional and courteous manner
• Process domestic and international shipments accurately
• Package items securely according to shipping guidelines
• Operate POS system and handle cash, credit, and other transactions
• Assist customers with printing, copying, scanning, and faxing services
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries
• Receive and manage incoming packages for mailbox holders
• Help promote store services and products to meet customer needs

Qualifications

• High school diploma or currently enrolled in high school (minimum age requirements may apply)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented and dependable
• Flexible availability, including weekends (preferred)
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required
