Job Summary

The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for assisting customers in locating products, making sales, processing transactions, and maintaining a well-organized and welcoming retail store environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, understand their needs, provide excellent service, and build lasting customer relationships.
• Drive sales by following up on leads, closing sales, and upselling/cross-selling products based on customer needs.
• Maintain attractive store presentation, accurate product merchandising, cleanliness, and proper opening/closing procedures.
• Process sales transactions, maintain customer and sales records, reconcile sales with Finance/Inventory teams, and monitor stock levels.

Requirements

• BSc/HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of proven experience in premium retail, fashion, luxury, or customer-facing sales roles.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with strong experience in lead conversion, upselling, cross-selling, and driving repeat customer purchases.
• Strong knowledge of customer relationship management, retail sales operations, merchandising, inventory management, and point-of-sale systems.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to understand customer buying behaviour, market trends, product positioning, and sales opportunities.

Salary: ₦500,000 - ₦600,000 Net Monthly
