Retail Sales Associate

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Mattress Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting them with their mattress selection, and recommending furniture as well.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and educate them on our mattress selection
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
• Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor, including restocking shelves as needed.
• Demonstrate product knowledge through effective product demos to educate customers on features and benefits.
• Handle transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy in retail math calculations.
• Provide excellent phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries or concerns over the phone.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store, including team break room and bathrooms
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the store.

Experience

• Previous experience in furniture and mattress retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with mattress and furniture store operations is a plus.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this skill can enhance customer interactions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment are essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.14 - $24.25 per hour
