Retail Sales Associate

Job Summary

Join the Do or Die Athletics team as a Retail Sales Associate, where you’ll play a key role in creating an outstanding customer experience while helping people achieve their fitness and health goals. In this fast-paced environment, you’ll assist customers with supplements, meal preps, smoothies, apparel, and wellness products while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming store. Responsibilities

● Welcome every customer with a positive attitude and create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

● Educate customers on supplements, meal preps, smoothies, apparel, and other products to help them make informed purchasing decisions.

● Recommend products based on each customer’s fitness, nutrition, and wellness goals.

● Prepare smoothies, protein shakes, coffees, energy drinks, and other menu items while following quality and food safety standards.

● Prepare meal preps, sandwiches, and other food items according to company procedures.

● Operate the POS system accurately, including processing cash, card, and digital payments.

● Restock merchandise, supplements, beverages, apparel, and food items to maintain a clean and fully stocked store.

● Keep the store, kitchen, prep areas, equipment, and customer spaces clean and organized throughout every shift.

● Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low stock or product concerns.

● Assist with receiving deliveries, organizing inventory, and rotating products using FIFO (First In, First Out).

● Support daily merchandising by creating attractive product displays and maintaining brand standards.

● Process online, delivery, and pickup orders accurately and efficiently.

● Promote current specials, memberships, loyalty programs, and new product launches.

● Create engaging social media content featuring products, supplements, and promotions as directed.

● Work collaboratively with teammates to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent customer service.

● Follow all company policies, food safety regulations, and operational procedures.

Qualifications

● Previous retail, food service, fitness, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

● Passion for fitness, nutrition, health, and helping others succeed.

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

● Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.

● Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while multitasking.

● Ability to provide outstanding customer service and confidently recommend products.

● Basic math and cash-handling skills.

● Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.

● Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

● Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

● Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.

Pay: $8.00 - $12.00 per hour
