Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance on lawn care, landscape maintenance, floral design, and gardening products
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process transactions accurately, including cash handling and retail math calculations
• Maintain attractive merchandise displays and organize stock to enhance product visibility and accessibility
• Identify plants and gardening supplies to help customers make informed decisions
• Support inventory management through stocking, merchandising, and inventory checks using organizational skills
• Assist customers via phone communication with product inquiries or order updates, including e-commerce orders
• Promote seasonal sales, special offers, and new products to maximize sales opportunities

Requirements

• Previous outdoor work experience or familiarity with horticulture, lawn care, or landscape maintenance is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
• Knowledge of POS systems, cashiering procedures, and retail math for accurate transactions
• Passion for gardening, floral design, and plant identification to provide expert advice
• Excellent organizational skills to manage stock levels and merchandising displays effectively
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
• Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Experience with retail sales techniques and phone communication to assist customers professionally
