Retail Sales Associate

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing excellent customer service and ensuring an organized and inviting shopping environment. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, be comfortable with retail sales processes, and enjoy engaging with customers both in person and via phone. Duties

• Assist customers with their purchases, answer questions, and provide product recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including processing sales and returns.
• Manage merchandising tasks such as stock replenishment, product displays, and maintaining an attractive store layout.
• Handle phone communications efficiently, addressing customer inquiries and providing information about products or store policies.
• Maintain organized store shelves and ensure the cleanliness and safety of the sales area.
• Operate cash registers and handle cash, credit card transactions, and receipts with accuracy.
• Support the team in maintaining a welcoming environment for all shoppers.

Skills

• Strong organizational skills to manage merchandise and maintain store presentation.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with customers both face-to-face and over the phone.
• Ability to operate POS systems and cash registers efficiently.
• Retail sales experience is preferred but not required; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed for stocking and merchandising tasks.
• Must be over the age of 18 and able to work Saturdays consistently.

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
