Due to the nature of the retail industry, this position will require evening and weekend hours (Store hours 9 AM - 8 PM M-S and Sunday 11 AM - 6 PM).

Retail Sales Associate – Once Upon A Child Branson

Do you love working with people, staying busy, and finding great deals? Once Upon A Child Branson is looking for energetic, dependable team members to join our locally owned store!

We buy and sell gently used children’s clothing, shoes, toys, baby gear, and more — which means every day is a little different. Our team helps customers shop, sell, and discover great finds while keeping the store organized, welcoming, and fun.

Because retail is busiest when our customers are off work, evening and weekend availability is required. Store hours are Monday–Saturday, 9 AM–8 PM, and Sunday, 11 AM–6 PM.

What You’ll Do

As a Retail Sales Associate, you’ll be involved in nearly every part of the store, including:

• Welcoming customers and providing friendly, knowledgeable service
• Helping customers find items that fit their needs
• Learning children’s brands, products, pricing, and current trends
• Assisting with the purchase of gently used merchandise from customers
• Evaluating, pricing, and ticketing incoming inventory
• Merchandising and restocking clothing, shoes, toys, and baby equipment
• Keeping displays clean, organized, and shopper-ready
• Operating our computerized Point of Sale system for purchases, returns, and customer buys
• Helping the team meet store sales and customer service goals
• Encouraging customers to come back to Buy, Sell, Repeat!

• Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Available for evenings and weekends
• Experienced in retail or customer service — preferred, but we are happy to train the right person!

Physical Requirements

This is an active retail position. Team members must be able to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours
• Lift up to 40 lbs. independently
• Assist with heavier items using another team member or cart/dolly
• Bend, reach, rotate, stock, organize, and move merchandise throughout the store
• Operate a computerized Point of Sale system
