Retail Sales Associate

Join our dynamic team as a Retail Sales Associate! We are looking for a motivated, passionate, and organized individual to join our sneaker and streetwear shop. Our store specializes in buying and selling sneakers, clothing, and accessories. You will play a vital role in creating an engaging shopping experience for our customers.

What you’ll do

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their shopping needs.
• Assist with customers buying and selling shoes, clothing, items, and accessories.
• Ability to navigate/operate through social media. Includes posting, making videos, and staying up trend.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling transactions accurately and ensuring smooth checkout experiences.
• Understanding customer needs and recommending complementary items to enhance their shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members, utilizing phone etiquette when answering inquiries or directing calls.

Basic qualifications

• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers positively.
• Sneaker Knowledge & Trend Awareness: Must have a strong knowledge of popular sneaker brands, styles, releases, and current trends. Ability to stay up to date with new drops, limited-edition releases, sneaker culture, and evolving streetwear trends.
• Customer Service
• Social Media and Tech Savvy: Comfortable using social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok, with the ability to stay up to date on sneaker trends and digital content.
• Basic Math and Cash Handling
• Retail Sales Experience required
• Organization and inventory control: Ability to maintain an organized sales floor, manage inventory, process shipments, restock merchandise, and keep products properly arranged.

Preferred qualifications

• Bilingual skills are a plus
• Experience with merchandising techniques and stocking procedures to maintain store appearance.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15.0 per week
