Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance on gardening, floral design, lawn care, and landscape maintenance products.
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, handle cash and card payments, and manage cash handling procedures confidently.
• Maintain attractive product displays through merchandising and stocking to enhance the shopping environment.
• Assist with inventory management by organizing stock, conducting stock checks, and replenishing racks efficiently.
• Provide exceptional customer service via phone communication or in-person inquiries to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, retail math, and merchandising techniques.
• Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customers effectively.
• Organizational skills to manage stock levels, organize displays, and keep the store tidy.
• Ability to move heavy boxes swiftly. Not entirely a necessity skill but would be preferred.

Pay: $17.75 - $20.00 per hour
