Retail Sales Associate

As a Duck Yeah! Sales Associates you would be responsible for creating a fun, welcoming, and memorable shopping experience for every guest. Associates serve as brand ambassadors by providing outstanding customer service, maintaining store appearance, promoting products, and contributing to a positive team environment.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service

• Greet every customer in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
• Engage with guests and provide product knowledge and recommendations.
• Answer customer questions and resolve concerns professionally.
• Create a fun and inviting shopping experience that reflects the Duck Yeah! brand.
• Thank customers for visiting and encourage repeat business.

Sales

• Actively promote merchandise and special offers.
• Assist customers in finding products that meet their needs.
• Meet or exceed individual and store sales goals.
• Suggest additional items and upsell when appropriate.

Cash Register Operations

• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently.
• Process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions.
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer and follow all cash handling procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing register responsibilities.

Store Appearance & Merchandising

• Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Maintain attractive product displays and merchandise presentation.
• Restock inventory as needed throughout the shift.
• Assist with receiving and pricing merchandise.
• Perform general housekeeping duties including sweeping, dusting, cleaning displays, and organizing storage areas.

Teamwork

• Work cooperatively with management and fellow team members.
• Communicate effectively regarding customer needs, inventory concerns, and operational issues.
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a productive work environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow directions and company policies.
• Cash Handling Abilities
• Retail experience preferred but not required.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, squat, and perform repetitive movements.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
