Position Overview

Stowe Living is seeking a motivated, creative, and detail-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team!

This position is ideal for someone who has a passion for enjoys working with people and thrives in a busy retail environment.

The role combines retail sales, customer service, visual merchandising. We are looking for someone who has a natural eye for design, takes initiative, and is eager to learn all aspects of our business.

Key Responsibilities

Retail Sales & Customer Service

• Welcome and assist customers, providing a friendly, knowledgeable, and personalized shopping experience.
• Help customers select furniture, lighting, rugs, décor, gifts, and home accessories.
• Build lasting relationships with customers and assist with follow-up communications.
• Process sales, customer orders, quotes, and payments.
• Communicate with vendors, track orders, and provide customers with delivery updates.
• Coordinate furniture deliveries and installations.
• Maintain an organized, attractive showroom through merchandising and product displays.
• Assist with inventory, receiving merchandise, and general retail operations.
• Work collaboratively with the sales and design team to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Our Ideal Candidate

• Has previous retail or sales experience and enjoys working with customers.
• Is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable multitasking.
• Is self-motivated, dependable, and willing to take initiative in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Lift, carry, and move heavy furniture, boxes, rugs, and home décor items as part of daily responsibilities.
• Is comfortable with the physical demands of a busy furniture and home décor showroom.
