Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting plants, gardening supplies, floral arrangements, and outdoor equipment
• Provide expert advice on lawn care, landscape maintenance, plant identification, and horticulture best practices
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cashiering and cash handling transactions
• Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with quality products
• Support inventory management through stocking, organizing, and rotating stock efficiently
• Assist customers via phone communication with product inquiries or order updates, including e-commerce orders
• Offer multilingual support to serve a diverse customer base effectively
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills by addressing questions promptly and professionally

Experience

• Prior outdoor work experience or background in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems, retail math, and cash handling procedures is advantageous
• Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
• Knowledge of floral design and plant identification enhances customer assistance capabilities
• Organizational skills to manage stock levels, merchandising displays, and inventory records effectively
• Experience in retail sales environments with a focus on customer service excellence is desirable
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week
