Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service by understanding their needs and offering tailored product recommendations.
• Assist customers with plant identification, floral design ideas, and landscape maintenance tips to enhance their outdoor spaces.
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory management.
• Maintain attractive merchandising displays, restock shelves, and organize stock to ensure a clean and inviting shopping environment.
• Support outdoor work activities such as lawn care, gardening assistance, and landscape maintenance tasks when needed.
• Communicate product features and benefits clearly via phone or in person to help customers make informed decisions.
• Use organizational skills to manage inventory levels, track stock movement, and assist with stocking duties efficiently.
• Engage with e-commerce platforms by updating product information or assisting online customers when applicable.
• Identify plants and gardening tools accurately to guide customers confidently in their purchases.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals while maintaining a positive store atmosphere.

Experience

• Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in outdoor goods, gardening supplies, or floral design.
• Knowledge of horticulture, landscape maintenance, lawn care, or gardening techniques is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures ensures smooth transactions.
• Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
• Outdoor work experience enhances understanding of landscaping tools and plant care practices.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage merchandising, stocking, and inventory control effectively.
• Customer service experience demonstrating patience, active listening, and problem-solving abilities.
