Retail Sales Associate

Art of Glass is looking to hire a Retail Sales Associate for our Amherst & Delaware location.

*This position will require any employees to have a car/ personal transportation.*

-Shift and Schedule flexibility.

-We are looking for a candidate to work at least 30hrs a week.

(Delaware Store Hours: M-W: 9am-10pm, Thur: 9am-11pm, Fri&Sat: 9am-12am, Sun:9am-11pm)

Responsibilities include:

• Greeting customers to identify individual needs & provide excellent customer service
• Money handling to cash out customer transactions
• Educating customers on products & services offered at AOG
• Creating up sale opportunities during each sale, with every customer
• Re-stocking inventory as needed & identifying when products need to be ordered
• Investigating & resolving customer complaints in a positive and effective manner
• Remaining up to date on product knowledge & the quickly growing industry
• Ensuring store cleanliness & organization at all times
• Opening & closing the location individually

Qualifications include:

• Previous experience in sales, customer service or other related fields
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to build rapport with existing clientele and bring in new customers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent math and pattern recognition skills
• Strong negotiation & people skills; a patient, kind attitude
• Professionalism; including respect for co-workers, management & clientele equally
• Time-management skills
• The desire & willingness to learn and grow with our company!
