Retail Sales Associate

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service:

• Greet customers promptly and professionally as they enter the store.
• Assist customers with inquiries about tile products, pricing, and availability.
• Guide customers to appropriate team members for detailed product knowledge or design advice.
• Address customer concerns or complaints with patience and professionalism.

2. Answering Phones:

• Handle incoming phone calls promptly and courteously.
• Provide accurate information about products, store hours, and services.
• Take messages or transfer calls to the appropriate staff member.

3. Front Desk:

• Manage daily paperwork, including invoices, orders, and receipts.
• Maintain organized records of sales and customer interactions.
• Assist with inventory tracking and updates in the system.
• Schedule and confirm customer appointments or deliveries.

4. Showroom:

• Ensure the front area and showroom remain clean, organized, and visually appealing.
• Update displays and promotional materials as needed.

5. Team Support:

• Coordinate with sales staff, warehouse team, and management to ensure smooth operations.
• Communicate customer needs or requests to the appropriate departments.

Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Being bilingual (Spanish/English) required.
• Experience in customer service, office management, or retail environments.
• Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., MS Office, scheduling tools).
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of tile or flooring products is a plus but not required.

This position plays a vital role in creating a positive shopping experience for customers while ensuring the smooth operation of the store’s front-end processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
