Retail Sales Professional

Thomas French Jewellers in Bexhill, East Sussex is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic retail sales professional to join our team, and work between our two stores (Whites Jewellers, Tenterden, and Thomas French Jewellers, Bexhill)

This vacancy is for a full time position, but 3+ days a week can be negotiated.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their appearance, is well spoken, and is confident in delivering an exceptional level of customer service. This is an opportunity for someone to become an important part of a customer-focused, independent jewellers.

The Ideal Candidate Requirements

You will ideally have proven sales experience working in retail and be confident dealing with customers across all aspects of the sales process.

You will be:

• Well presented, professional and well spoken
• You will ideally have experience in retail sales
• Warm, approachable and confident with customers
• Comfortable working in a busy, customer-driven retail environment
• A strong communicator with excellent attention to detail
• Able to work independently while also contributing positively to a small team
• Reliable, organised and commercially aware
• A full UK driving licence holder
• Willing to work between two stores

The Role

• The successful candidate will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the store, including:
• Providing exceptional, personalised customer service
• Selling fine jewellery and watches
• Building long-term relationships with customers
• Advising customers on jewellery, gemstones and precious metals
• Handling jewellery repairs and liaising with external workshops
• Maintaining high standards of presentation across the showroom
• Supporting the wider team with the smooth running of the store

Pay: £26,436.80-£33,000.00 per year
