About the Role

We are looking for reliable and professional Security Officers to work at retail sites across the UK. The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting the security, safety, and smooth day-to-day operation of the assigned site.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for security professionals who are confident working in a customer-facing retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible security presence across the retail site.
• Conduct routine patrols and monitor the premises for security risks.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas.
• Help prevent theft, damage, unauthorised access, and anti-social behaviour.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to incidents and security concerns.
• Follow site security procedures and instructions at all times.
• Liaise with store management and relevant personnel when required.
• Provide professional and helpful customer service while carrying out security duties.
• Record incidents, observations, and other relevant information accurately.
• Support emergency procedures and respond to situations in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain professional conduct and comply with all applicable security and site policies.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must:

• Hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard Licence.
• Have the right to work full-time in the UK.
• Be able to provide a complete 5-year employment and/or education history.
• Be able to provide a 5-year address history.
• Have a valid/clear DBS check or be willing to undergo a DBS check.
• Have no unspent criminal convictions.
• Be available to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience in retail security or loss prevention.
• Experience working in a customer-facing security environment.
• A full UK driving licence is preferred.
