Retail Shipping Associate

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and assist customers with their shipping, printing, and packaging needs.
• Accurately process transactions using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Pack, label, and ship packages using carrier software (UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.).
• Provide shipping estimates and ensure all packages meet carrier guidelines.
• Manage small- and large-scale print jobs with attention to detail and quality.
• Keep the sales floor tidy and organized by restocking and arranging merchandise.
• Deliver friendly, professional service and resolve customer inquiries efficiently.
• Safely lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Use computers, shipping tools, and basic office software confidently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in retail, shipping, or customer service.
• Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Comfortable operating POS systems and handling cash/card transactions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stay focused and flexible in a busy, multitasking environment.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
• Basic math skills for accurate pricing and transaction handling.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
