Sales Assistant – Lotto & Retail

Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service while promoting and selling a range of products, including lotto tickets. You will be an important part of our daily operations and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers with enquiries and purchases in a friendly and professional manner
• Operate the point-of-sale system for retail items, services, and lotto ticket sales
• Provide accurate information on lotto games, prizes, and promotions
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organised store environment
• Stock shelves and monitor inventory levels
• Handle cash transactions and balance registers accurately

Requirements

• Previous experience in a TattsLotto outlet or kiosk is essential
• Experience in retail sales, newsagency, or similar environment is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills and confidence handling cash
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and proactively
• Professional, helpful, polite, and attentive to all customers
• Punctual, reliable, and flexible
• Availability to work weekdays and weekends

Benefits

• Ongoing casual position
• 2–4 shifts per week (4–5 hours per shift) (depending on operational requirements), Monday to Saturday, on a rotating roster
