A crucial part of our Company is represented by our Global Buying Offices, where our Buying and Sourcing teams purchase goods locally and scout regional markets looking for exciting products for our stores. Global Buying Offices in Europe are present in Portugal, Italy, UK, and we also have Associates in Spain, Poland and the Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing product and market trends research. Identify and assess new market opportunities, competition and product development resources.
• Gather information on availability, pricing, orders status from suppliers.
• Attend trade shows to evaluate products and trends.
• Communicate sourcing opportunities to buyers for evaluation and potential purchase.
• Coordinate buyer trips, scheduling manufacturer visits, and accompany buyers to facilitate the selection and negotiation process.

Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience

• Proficiency in Spanish and English is essential.
• Knowledge of brands, product categories, and manufacturers, gained through hands-on experience and professional training.
• Good communication skills to discuss orders with buyers of all TJX Divisions.
• Able to build relationships, be personable, maintain a positive attitude and collaborate with others
• Experience with Microsoft to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Comfortable with frequent national and international travel.
