Retail Stocker

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with merchandise, ensuring products are organized, properly labeled, and accessible for customers
• Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely to load, unload, and move inventory
• Use RF scanners to accurately track inventory levels and update stock records in the system
• Assist with shipping and receiving duties by loading and unloading shipments efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas, including warehouse spaces and stockrooms
• Support inventory management efforts through regular stock counts, cycle counts, and reporting discrepancies
• Collaborate with team members to ensure product placement aligns with merchandising standards and store layout plans
• Provide excellent customer service by answering product questions and guiding shoppers to items when needed

Requirements

• Previous warehouse or retail store experience is highly preferred, especially in stocking or materials handling roles
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners safely and effectively
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail for inventory control and stock management
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and safe lifting practices throughout shifts
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer needs
• Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments or inventory levels
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and assist customers confidently
• Knowledge of retail store operations, merchandising principles, and grocery or produce handling is advantageous
