This paid position offers a dynamic work experience where every day brings new opportunities to connect with people and grow your retail skills. We will start you with very few hours while training, but there is always room for growth. We are relying on weekend help also (NOT all weekends. (We get it... everyone has a life). We have a pleasant atmosphire here, but the most important thing is seeing to our customers needs and being reliable.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly, providing outstanding service and product recommendations to enhance their shopping experience
• Operate the cash register (Square system), handle retail sales transactions accurately, and manage cash drawer handling with integrity
• Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling to maximize sales opportunities
• Organize merchandise, and ensure the store is clean, appealing, and well-merchandised at all times
• Assist with retail math calculations for sales, discounts, and inventory management to support accurate transactions
• Maintain excellent phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors and address inquiries promptly
• Support supervising staff during busy periods by assisting with customer service and operational tasks as needed

Skills

• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
• Proven experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service roles with a focus on positive interactions
• Familiarity with POS systems, retail math, and cash handling procedures to ensure smooth transactions
• Demonstrated supervising experience or ability to assist in supervising team members during shifts
• Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and inventory stocking practices
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory counts
• Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and team members

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
