Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their shopping experience
• Assist customers with product demos, answering questions about features and benefits to encourage sales
• Operate the cash register, handle retail sales transactions accurately, and manage cash drawer procedures with integrity
• Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented and replenished regularly
• Conduct upselling by recommending additional products or accessories to maximize sales opportunities
• Maintain knowledge of store products and merchandising standards to support effective sales efforts
• Demonstrate phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely
• Support inventory management through stocking, inventory counts, and product rotation as needed

Skills

• Experience with POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash register operations for efficient transactions
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings
• Ability to perform retail math accurately for pricing, discounts, and cash handling tasks
• Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual capabilities to serve diverse customers effectively
• Knowledge of retail store product details, merchandising techniques, and customer service best practices
• Familiarity with retail sales processes including upselling and product demos to boost revenue
• Excellent phone etiquette for professional remote communication
• Basic math skills for balancing cash drawers and processing transactions confidently
• Experience in stocking shelves, inventory management, and visual merchandising strategies
• Food Handler Certification is strongly preferred
