Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their shopping journey
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, cash handling, and receipts
• Assist customers with product demos, upselling items, and answering questions about merchandise
• Maintain organized displays through merchandising and stocking to enhance store presentation
• Manage inventory levels by restocking shelves and monitoring stock levels regularly
• Handle cashiering duties with accuracy, including basic math calculations for transactions
• Use effective phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors over the phone
• Support supervising staff with daily store operations and ensure adherence to company policies

Requirements

• Prior experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor to engage with diverse customers
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, helping serve a broader customer base effectively
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math for accurate transactions
• Experience in supervising or leading small teams is advantageous but not mandatory
• Ability to perform merchandising, stocking, and product demos confidently
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive interactions
• Basic math skills for cash register operations and sales calculations

Pay: $13.75 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 35.0 per week
