Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their shopping experience
• Operate the cash register (POS system) efficiently for retail sales transactions, cash handling, and cashiering duties
• Assist customers with product demos and upselling to maximize sales opportunities
• Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the sales floor is clean, attractive, and well-maintained through effective merchandising
• Manage retail math tasks such as calculating discounts, totals, and change accurately using basic math skills
• Handle cash drawer operations with integrity and follow proper cash handling procedures
• Maintain knowledge of store products to answer customer questions confidently and promote retail store product knowledge

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales experience or supervising experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
• Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities preferred to serve diverse customer needs
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math principles
• Excellent phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally over the phone
• Ability to perform stocking duties efficiently and maintain organized merchandise displays
• Knowledge of retail store product knowledge and merchandising techniques
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly attitude and positive approach
