Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their shopping experience
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities
• Handle cash register operations, including cash handling, cash drawer management, and basic math calculations for transactions
• Stock shelves and organize merchandise to maintain an attractive and accessible store layout
• Assist with inventory management by stocking new products and conducting stock counts
• Maintain professional phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing support over the phone
• Support merchandising efforts by setting up displays and ensuring products are well-presented
• Engage in product knowledge training to stay informed about store offerings and assist customers effectively
• Assist in supervising team members when needed, fostering a collaborative environment

Skills

• Proven experience with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail sales transactions
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person and over the phone
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs more effectively
• Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities for team support roles
• Ability to perform retail math accurately for sales, discounts, and cash handling procedures
• Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and inventory management
• Experience conducting product demos and upselling to maximize sales opportunities
• Excellent phone etiquette with professional communication skills
• Capable of stocking merchandise efficiently while maintaining safety standards
• Familiarity with basic cashiering duties including cash drawer handling and balancing registers

Pay: $12.50 - $13.50 per hour
