Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their shopping experience
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for retail sales transactions, cash register operations, and cash handling
• Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities
• Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and maintaining organized product presentation
• Manage retail math calculations for sales totals, discounts, and inventory counts accurately
• Handle cashiering responsibilities including cash drawer handling and processing returns or exchanges
• Communicate effectively with customers via phone etiquette, answering inquiries and providing product information
• Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with stock replenishment
• Promote store promotions and upselling techniques to maximize sales potential
• Supervise or assist in supervising new team members or interns as needed

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is highly preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems and cash register operations
• Supervising experience in a retail setting is a plus, showcasing leadership capabilities
• Bilingual skills are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases effectively
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently and professionally
• Familiarity with retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and inventory management
• Experience in conducting product demos and upselling techniques to increase sales volume
• Knowledge of grocery store operations or similar fast-paced retail environments is beneficial
• Basic math skills necessary for accurate cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing
