Job Description

Goodwill Industries of St. Clair County is hiring part-time Retail Store Associates for our Fort Gratiot location. We are looking for dependable sales associates who possess effective and professional communication skills in dealings with customers, supervisors, and co-workers. Must be responsible for achieving excellent customer service, and stay up-to-date with procedures while maintaining our store’s visual appearance and cleanliness in high standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Knowledge and/or experience in customer service
• Knowledge and/or experience in retail operations
• Ability to work varied schedules and hours
• Ability to work well with others and be a productive member of a team
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Ability to pass a drug test

Physical Expectations

• Must be able to stand for extended periods, climb ladder, walk, bend, reach, push and pull
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand motions
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors

Responsibilities

• Receiving donations from donors while providing professional customer service at all times
• Empty donation bins
• Sorting, handling and pricing donations
• Assist in stocking/merchandising sales floor
• Ability to meet or exceed daily production goals
• Maintain a clean and operable work environment
• Promote Goodwill’s Mission
• Knowledge of Health and Safety Guidelines

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.75 per hour
