Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their laundry and dry cleaning pick ups and drop offs.
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions including sales, and pick ups.
• Handle check in and check out and process payments securely with attention to detail.
• Count, sort, and tag all garments and linens dropped off by customers.
• Conduct regular inventory checks, manage stock levels, and assist with stock replenishment to keep the store organized.
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely.
• Support the store’s merchandising efforts and appearance by maintaining a neat and clean front counter.
• Assist in coordination of garment transfers between the two locations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or dry cleaning environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks involved in tagging, sorting, and hanging.
• Knowledge of phone etiquette and professional communication standards in a retail setting.
• Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in leadership opportunities within the team.

We are hiring for 2 Locations. One location is in Morrisville at 10970 Chapel Hill Road. The other location is in Durham at 5410 Page Rd. Hours of operation are 7am - 7pm Monday thru Friday and Saturday 9am - 2pm.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
