Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their shopping experience
• Operate cash registers and POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for retail sales transactions and cash handling
• Assist customers with product inquiries, upselling opportunities, and product demonstrations to maximize sales potential
• Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented according to merchandising standards
• Maintain accurate cash drawer handling and perform retail math calculations for transactions
• Support inventory management by stocking products and conducting regular stock checks
• Uphold phone etiquette when communicating with customers over the phone, providing clear information and assistance
• Engage in product knowledge training to stay informed about store offerings and retail store product knowledge

Skills

• Proven experience with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail sales transactions
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone
• Demonstrated leadership qualities in a retail setting
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math calculations, and sales totals
• Knowledge of merchandising principles to create attractive displays and organize stock efficiently
• Excellent phone etiquette to handle inquiries professionally and courteously
• Familiarity with retail store product knowledge across various categories
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $18.75 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7.0 – 25.0 per week
