Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs, providing exceptional customer service at all times
• Operate the cash register (POS system), handle retail sales transactions accurately, and manage cash drawer handling with integrity
• Conduct product demonstrations and upselling to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
• Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the store is clean, attractive, and well-merchandised
• Assist with inventory management by stocking new products and participating in stock counts
• Maintain professional phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
• Support merchandising efforts by arranging displays that highlight key products and promotions

Skills

• Proven experience with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail sales transactions
• Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities in bilingual settings preferred
• Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities for guiding team members when needed
• Ability to perform retail math accurately for sales calculations, discounts, and inventory management
• Knowledge of retail store product details, merchandising techniques, and grocery store operations is a plus
• Experience in product demos, upselling techniques, and promoting store promotions effectively
• Familiarity with phone etiquette, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills necessary for daily operations
• Must be available weekends and evenings!

Must be available on the weekends and open to 9+ hour shift on feet. Must be available 1-2 weekends a month. We are open 7 days a week so availability must be flexible. Must be 18 or older.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
