Duties

• Lead and supervise all store activities, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and staff scheduling to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and train new employees, fostering a positive onboarding experience that emphasizes company values and operational standards.
• Manage employee orientation programs and ongoing training initiatives to develop team skills and promote professional growth.
• Oversee inventory control procedures, including stock replenishment, merchandising, pricing strategies, and loss prevention measures.
• Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, cash handling procedures, and POS (Point of Sale) system operations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Implement effective marketing strategies to attract customers and increase store traffic while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
• Monitor sales performance metrics, manage budgets, and develop action plans to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, store policies, and operational procedures at all times.

Experience

• Proven management experience within the retail industry, including supervising sales teams and managing store operations.
• Strong background in retail math, inventory management, merchandising, and POS systems.
• Demonstrated ability in recruiting, interviewing, employee training & development, and team leadership.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Experience in managing budgets, purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and operational workflows.
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are preferred to better serve diverse customer bases.
• Prior experience in grocery or wireless sales is advantageous but not required; a solid understanding of retail management principles is essential.
