Duties

• Lead and motivate the retail sales team to meet and exceed sales goals through effective coaching and training.
• Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system management.
• Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, and purchasing to optimize product availability and presentation.
• Recruit, interview, onboard, and develop new employees to build a high-performing team aligned with company standards.
• Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth store functioning.
• Implement pricing strategies and promotional activities to attract customers and maximize sales opportunities.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Skills

• Proven management experience within the retail industry with supervisory or assistant manager roles preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively and communicate managerial expectations clearly.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for inventory management, merchandising, and operational procedures.
• Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, sales management software, and basic math for retail math calculations.
• Exceptional communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases.
• Skilled in negotiation, purchasing, budgeting, and inventory control to optimize store profitability.
• Experience in recruiting, interviewing, training & development of staff, along with employee orientation practices.
• Ability to manage time efficiently across shift management duties while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
