Retail Store Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive, performance-driven Store Manager to lead daily retail operations, drive sales targets, and oversee team management, inventory control, and customer experience for our retail store in Hosur.

The ideal candidate brings solid retail operational grounding, sharp leadership abilities, and a proven track record of boosting revenue while upholding top-tier visual and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Store Operations & Performance: Take end-to-end ownership of daily store operations, workflow discipline, and target achievement.

* Sales Leadership: Track daily footfall, conversion rates, and revenue metrics; devise tactics to consistently meet or exceed monthly sales goals.

* People Management: Direct, train, and mentor store associates; delegate shift duties and evaluate individual and team performance.

* Inventory & Cash Control: Supervise stock replenishment, billing, and cash reconciliation; conduct routine audits to minimize shrinkage, damages, and discrepancies.

* Visual Merchandising: Ensure compliant product displays, promotional signage, and an impeccable store environment.

* Customer Experience: Address escalations promptly, foster repeat clientele, and maintain superior service standards on the floor.

* Reporting & Compliance: Generate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports on sales and inventory; enforce operational SOPs, statutory guidelines, and store safety protocols.

Candidate Requirements

* Experience: 2–3 years of proven experience in retail store management, assistant store management, or floor operations.

* Industry Background: Prior experience in lifestyle, home décor, FMCG, jewellery, apparel, or specialty retail is highly preferred.

* Core Competencies: Strong operational acumen, stock reconciliation skills, and team leadership.

* Communication: Clear interpersonal and escalation-handling abilities.

* Analytical Skills: Comfortable reviewing daily sales reports, billing summaries, and basic Excel/POS data.

* Location: Candidates currently based in Hosur or neighboring areas with an immediate-to-short notice period preferred.
