Retail Store Manager

Duties

• Lead and supervise store staff, including recruiting, training, coaching, and developing team members to reach their full potential
• Manage all aspects of retail sales, including customer service, cashiering, and POS (Point of Sale) operations to ensure smooth transactions
• Oversee merchandising strategies to optimize product displays, pricing, and inventory levels in alignment with company standards
• Handle purchasing decisions and vendor negotiations to maintain stock levels and maximize profitability
• Implement marketing initiatives and promotional activities to increase foot traffic and sales performance
• Maintain accurate payroll records, manage budgeting processes, and oversee cash handling procedures with integrity
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and store procedures at all times

Qualifications

• Proven supervising experience in retail management or a related field with demonstrated leadership skills
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
• Proficiency in retail sales techniques, merchandising, POS systems, and cash handling procedures
• Experience with recruiting, training & development, and team management to foster a motivated work environment
• Knowledge of budgeting, bookkeeping, pricing strategies, and administrative tasks such as payroll processing
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong negotiation skills for purchasing and vendor relations; experience in marketing is advantageous
• Multilingual abilities enhance communication with diverse customers; proficiency in math is essential for accurate recordkeeping

Pay: $29.00-$31.00 per hour
