Duties

• Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and provide outstanding customer service.
• Manage daily operations including inventory management, merchandising, and visual displays.
• Oversee cashiering processes to ensure accuracy in transactions and adherence to company policies.
• Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, updates, and training opportunities.
• Implement effective time management strategies to optimize staff schedules and productivity.
• Negotiate with vendors for purchasing inventory at competitive prices while maintaining quality standards.
• Handle administrative tasks such as payroll processing, employee records management, and reporting.
• Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement within the store.

Experience

• Proven experience in retail management with a strong understanding of store operations.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
• Proficiency in cashiering systems and financial reporting.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience in team management, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Strong negotiation skills with experience in buying merchandise or managing vendor relationships.
• Administrative experience related to retail operations is preferred.
