What they need
Maybe you've spent years leading people. You're good at it but you're tired of endless meetings, layers of approval, politics, and feeling disconnected from the people you're supposed to be leading. You still love leadership. You still love building a great team. You just want to do it somewhere that feels more human. If this describes you we may be a great fit!
FR Clothing & Supply is looking for a Store Manager who can bring people together, create a great place to work, take exceptional care of customers, and take real ownership of our retail store.
This isn't a job for someone who simply wants to manage schedules and check boxes.
We want a leader who puts people first while still holding a high standard.
Someone who notices when an employee is struggling.
Someone who celebrates wins.
Someone who knows that strong relationships and strong accountability can coexist.
Someone who creates a team that wants to work hard for each other.
What You'll Own
Lead the Team
Your biggest responsibility is the people.
You'll coach, develop, encourage, and hold our retail team accountable.
You'll own:
- Team leadership and accountability
- Employee development and coaching
- Store scheduling and coverage
- Team meetings and communication
- Store scorecard performance
- Improving processes when something isn't working
We want a leader who can create both high expectations and a great culture.
Take Care of Customers
We want customers to know we are genuinely glad they walked through our door.
You'll help create a team that:
- Greets and engages customers quickly
- Listens before trying to sell
- Helps customers find the right product
- Resolves problems with urgency and ownership
- Builds relationships instead of simply completing transactions
You'll learn our products, brands, sizing, safety requirements, and company programs well enough to confidently guide both customers and employees.
Own the Store Experience
You'll make sure the store feels organized, welcoming, and ready for customers every day.
That includes:
- Merchandising
- Product presentation
- Cleanliness and organization
- Keeping the floor stocked
- Seasonal displays and promotions
- Identifying missing sizes, low inventory, and product opportunities
You'll work closely with Inventory/Purchasing and E-commerce to communicate what customers are asking for, what's selling, what's not selling, and where we see opportunities.
You won't be responsible for buying inventory.
You will be one of our most important sources of information about what customers actually want.
Who We're Looking For
You may be a great fit if:
- You've led people before
- Building a strong team energizes you
- You genuinely enjoy helping people
- You notice when someone needs encouragement
- You're comfortable having difficult conversations
- You take ownership in what you do
- You like solving problems
- You care about details
- You can look at numbers and understand whether the store is performing
- You want the freedom to lead without asking permission for every decision
Retail experience is helpful.
Leadership experience matters more.
We can teach you flame-resistant clothing, work boots, brands, and products.
We can't teach you to genuinely care about people.
Our Core Values
Everything we do comes back to five values:
Better Never Stops — Ask questions and keep learning.
See it. Own it — If someone needs help, jump in.
We Protect Trust — Tell the truth, own mistakes, communicate openly.
Put Your Name On It — Care about doing things the right way.
Read the Room — Use good judgment, common sense, and people skills.
What Success Looks Like
A year from now:
The team enjoys coming to work.
People know what is expected of them.
Strong employees are being trained and are growing.
Customers feel cared for.
The store looks great.
The numbers are being watched.
The team works together.
That's the job.
